PP - polipropilen

PP (polypropylene) is a thermoplastic material with a semi-crystalline structure. It has a higher strength, higher rigidity and a higher melting point than PE. Polypropylene is available in two basic varieties: the homopolymer PP and the copolymer PP-C. PP boards can be fire-retardant, antistatic and single-side coated with an adhesion-facilitating agent. Polypropylene is an excellent alternative to acid-resistant steel. It is used in the chemical industry, the medical industry, the food industry and the packaging industry. Its proposed complements are cylinders and welding rods.

Applications

Extruded PP boards:

  • Chemical tanks
  • Ventilation ducts
  • Electrolytic tanks
