HIPS boards
HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a modified formula of polystyrene (PS) with the admixture of polybutadiene. It is a lightweight material (with a density of 1.06 g/cm3) with a high impact strength, extremely susceptible to heat forming and which does not require pre-drying. These characteristics allow extrusion of even the most complex spatial forms. However, polybutadiene reduces the tearing strength, transparency and the durability and stability of shape at high temperatures. HIPS is recommended for indoor use. It is perfect for industry and advertising.
